Kate is a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Counselling Psychology.
Kate has experience in helping individuals and couples tackle a number of presenting concerns.
Kate works holistically and is passionate about exploring client concerns from the mental, emotional, and physical areas.
Kate has a strong interest in the mind-body connection and believes this alignment results in lasting change. She supports clients in their change process by acknowledging their strengths and building on this foundation. Kate creates a space where clients feel comfortable and empowered to create change.
Kate is trained in:
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Kate also draws from the principles of ACT, along with a combination of therapeutic approaches highlighting emotion, attachment, cognitive behavioural tools, and communication.
Kate’s areas of interest include couples counselling, stress, anxiety, depression, boundary setting and confidence, effective communication skills, and trauma work.
